Zac wrote a letter to his homeschool facilitator telling about our Mexico trip. He said it was okay for me to copy it here. I know Julie wanted to read about the trip :)
Mexico was great!!!!!
We flew to Los Angeles on February 6th and boarded the Sapphire princess the next day. We sailed south for a while all the way to Porta Varta and got off and took a taxi down one long stretch of road. We did a little shopping along the way!.......at one point I thought I might die because the guys were really trying to sell me stuff, but it was all good they were nice guys. It was very interesting too that they had a Wallmart there just like in other places and many other similarities, and the movie Predator was filmed there!
Well moving on our next stop was Mazatlan where we got a little taxi buggy thing with no windows and no seat belts and it went about 70 k and hour!....pretty fast. We got out to take some nice pictures as well, and not to mention there was a guy asking for money to throw a fish in the air for a bird to catch it. And I almost forgot this is the best part, we went to a time share place and there was this really pesky salesmen who was trying to get us to buy for about 2 hours but we turned him down. I really wanted to get the time share but Mom and Dad were being pricks and wouldn't give into his salesmen ways. Yeah we looked at the apartments and they were really nice...but no...no deal.
Our final destination was Cabo San Lucas where our boat would dock in the middle of the peer and these little boats would take us to shore. We were greeted by some Mexican guys with some machine guns and a bunch of guys with signs trying to get you to go with them. We picked the snorkeling one and on our way there we got to drive past some whales jumping out of the water which was very cool, and we drove by Micheal Jordan's house. Then we got to the beach where Mom and Dad went snorkeling and I just boogy boarded around. That lasted about an hour and a half maybe cause we had to get back to our boat.
So yeah Mexico was a really good trip and I would love to do it again. =) And before I leave why don't I tell you about the boat. It was a sapphire princess, like I said before. I think the passenger capacity was like 2600 or something. There were multiple pools, a kid hang out, a teen hang out, a 24 hour buffet, a mini golf, a pizza bar, a theatre, there were elevators of course but you could take the stairs if you wanted to....I did. There was an Internet cafe that was the best part haha just kidding. There was a bunch of fancy restaurants that you had to dress up to go, and ice cream bar, a running track, a gym thingy, and so much more stuff. We had one of the best rooms were you could get room service whenever you wanted and we got chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our door daily, and we had a balcony. A few more things to put in there, the cruise was on a week the kids stayed at Nanny's so it was just me and Mom an Dad. When we got home it still felt like we were rocking. Mom didn't write this extremely long email, I did, sorry it took me so long to get back to you..BYE!!!

Hey Zac - soulds like a great trip. What - no snorkelling for you. We know what you mean about the ground rolling after you get off the boat. After our 7 day trip we had to sit down whenever we got on land for the first day
Lots of Love
